A Memory Upgrade for America
Posted by admin / Under National Lampoon's Totally Baked: A Potumentary
Recently I upgraded the memory on my computer. It runs Windows Vista and was slow with only 1 gigabyte of memory. I had been told that 2 gigabytes were the minimum for optimum function, but I was lazy. Inertia is a property of matter, but regrettably it is also a property of people. Finally I upgraded the memory to 2 gigabytes. Everything is faster, including word processing and Web surfing. Human beings are not computers â except for bureaucrats, that is. But if we stumble along with inadequate memory, everything we do is less efficient. In particular, our knowledge of...

Three arrests, no violence at National Socialist rallyBy Matt Lakin Knoxville News Sentinel Updated August 14, 2010 at 10:23 p.m. Swastikas flew on the courthouse lawn Saturday as National Socialists marched through downtown for a rally against illegal immigration. "This is part of our Stand in The South," said Jeff Schoep, commander of the Detroit-based National Socialist Movement. "It's about the survival of America." About 50-60 members of the NSM made the march from Market Square to the courthouse on Main Street, past heckling from more than 100 counter-protesters and surrounded by 400-500 police. "Nazis, go home!" the hecklers shouted....

DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN; Does it make a difference?
Posted by admin / Under National Lampoon's Totally Baked: A Potumentary
WEBTODAY-- Since 1913 we have been transitioning to National Socialism and losing our freedoms bit by bit. Things are now so far gone that about the only difference between Democrats and Republicans is the rate of change. Full transition to National Socialism will be complete under the Democrats in about 10-15 years and under the Republicans in about 25-30 years. Paul Owen contends that the forces of destruction and corruption are so well entrenched you cannot fix the situation by simply throwing the "Bums" out. Throwing the "Bums" won't work because the "Bums" no longer run our country. Electing a...

A group of high school students attending a conservative leadership conference in Washington, D.C. said they were ordered by a security guard to stop singing the national anthem during a June 25 visit to the Lincoln Memorial. They told them to stop singing, said Evan Gassman, a spokesman for the Young Americas Foundation. I was taken aback. You wouldnt expect a display of national patriotism to be censored." ... If their idea of civil disobedience is singing the national anthem, then so be it, Gassman said. Let them disobey. The crime was "singing it loudly".

Missionaries of the Ax

Located in the very heart of modern-day Germany, in the province of Hesse, is a small humble town of only 15,000 inhabitants. In the middle of that town stands an imposing old cathedral built in the 12th-14th centuries of reddish stone. Situated in front of that cathedral is the statue of a man in a monks garb on a stump of a freshly felled oak, with a huge Saxon ax in his hand. The humble town is Fritzlar, called Gaesmere in ancient times. It is known in Germany as the birthplace of two beginnings: Here began the Christianization of Germany,...

Town hall meeting on national debt is a reality check for Dallas-area residents
Posted by admin / Under National Lampoon's Totally Baked: A Potumentary
Several hundred Dallas-area residents gathered Saturday for an all-day brainstorming session about the ballooning national debt. They sweated. They scratched their heads, jotted notes and haggled. They made tough choices and in the end, like Congress itself, many came up short. Frank Reister discussed options with his table Saturday at the AmericaSpeaks town hall meeting on the national debt. Reister thought the choices subtly led people toward protecting entitlement programs. Table 29, for instance, tried earnestly for hours. They got about halfway to the goal of trimming the deficit by $1.2 trillion.
